The importance of maintaining chain-of-custody integrity for test kit compounds requires careful handling of all return requests. Please review this policy carefully before placing an order. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
Return Policy Overview
Digital research guides are non-refundable once delivered, as they are digital content accessed immediately upon purchase. Complimentary test kit materials contain research-grade peptides that require precise handling, storage, and temperature control to maintain their integrity. Once a test kit has left our facility, we cannot verify that proper storage conditions have been maintained, and we cannot guarantee the materials’ integrity for redistribution. For this reason, all sales are generally considered final.
Returns of test kit materials are accepted only under the specific circumstances described below. We are committed to resolving any legitimate quality or fulfillment issues promptly and fairly.
Eligibility for Returns
Returns and replacements of test kit materials are accepted in the following circumstances only:
Damaged in Transit
If your test kit arrives with visible damage to the packaging or contents:
- Photograph the damaged packaging and test kit materials immediately upon receipt, before opening or discarding any materials.
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photographs.
- Do not discard the damaged test kit or packaging until we authorize disposal or arrange return pickup.
- We will ship a replacement test kit at no additional cost, or issue a full refund for the affected items, at your preference.
Incorrect Test Kit Shipped
If you receive a test kit that does not match the research guide you ordered:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and details of the discrepancy.
- Do not open or use the incorrect test kit. Materials must remain in their original, sealed condition for return.
- We will provide a prepaid return shipping label and ship the correct test kit upon confirmation of the error, or issue a full refund.
Certificate of Analysis (COA) Dispute
If you believe the test kit materials received do not match the specifications stated on the Certificate of Analysis:
- Contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number, the lot/batch number, and a detailed description of the discrepancy.
- If you have conducted independent analytical testing, please provide your test results and methodology.
- We will review the claim against our internal quality control records and retained samples.
- If the discrepancy is confirmed, we will offer a replacement test kit from a different batch, a full refund, or a store credit, at your preference.
- If the discrepancy cannot be confirmed through our internal review, we may request that the test kit materials be returned to us for re-analysis at our expense. The results of our re-analysis will be final.
Temperature Compromise During Shipping
If you have reason to believe the cold chain was compromised during test kit transit:
- Photograph the condition of the insulated packaging and gel ice packs immediately upon receipt.
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photographs and your order number.
- We will evaluate the claim based on shipping conditions, transit time, and packaging integrity, and determine whether a replacement test kit or refund is warranted.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:
- Digital Research Guides: All digital guide content is non-refundable once delivered, as it is accessed immediately upon purchase.
- Opened or Unsealed Test Kits: Any test kit whose seal has been broken or tampered with, as we cannot verify integrity or contamination status.
- Used Test Kit Materials: Any test kit materials that have been partially or fully used, reconstituted, or incorporated into a research protocol.
- Improperly Stored Test Kits: Test kits that have not been stored in accordance with the storage conditions specified on the label or COA.
- Test Kits Returned Without Authorization: Any test kit returned without first obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from our team.
- Orders Older Than 14 Days: Claims submitted more than 14 days after delivery, unless a COA dispute (which has a 14-day window from delivery).
- Buyer’s Remorse or Change of Mind: We do not accept returns for guides or test kits that were ordered correctly and delivered in proper condition but are no longer needed.
- Custom or Special Orders: Guides with custom test kits ordered on a special-order basis are non-returnable.
Return Process
To initiate an eligible return of test kit materials, follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email info@peptidecalifornia.com with the subject line “Return Request – [Your Order Number].” Include your order number, the test kit(s) in question, the reason for the return, and any supporting documentation (photographs, test results, etc.).
- Receive RMA Number: Our team will review your request and, if approved, issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number along with return shipping instructions. Do not return any test kit without an RMA number.
- Package the Return: Repackage the test kit in its original container, ensuring it is properly sealed and protected. Include the RMA number on the outside of the shipping box.
- Ship the Return: For returns due to our error (incorrect test kit, damaged in transit), we will provide a prepaid return shipping label. For COA disputes under review, return shipping is at our expense. Ship the package using a trackable method.
- Inspection and Resolution: Upon receipt, our quality assurance team will inspect the returned test kit materials. We will notify you of the resolution within 5 business days of receiving the return.
Refund Timeline
Once a test kit return has been received, inspected, and approved:
- Credit Card Refunds: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days. Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
- Store Credit: If you prefer store credit, it will be applied to your account within 2 business days of return approval and will be valid for 12 months from the date of issuance.
- Replacement Shipments: Replacement test kits will be shipped within 2-3 business days of return approval, subject to availability.
Refunds are issued for the order cost only. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (damaged shipment, incorrect test kit, or confirmed COA discrepancy).
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled for a full refund if the cancellation request is received before the test kit has been shipped. Once a test kit has been dispatched, the order cannot be cancelled and is subject to the return policy above. Disputes
If you are dissatisfied with the resolution of a return or refund request, you may escalate the matter by emailing info@peptidecalifornia.com with the subject line “Return Dispute – [RMA Number].” A senior member of our team will review the case and respond within 5 business days. All final dispute decisions are governed by our Terms of Service.
